Mr. Jimenez is a globally experienced bi-lingual executive with a successful history in leadership and strategic management. He possesses strong inter-personal skills and a hands-on management approach. He is an assertive decision maker with a wide range of operational and strategic skills. He is highly skilled in defining and developing efforts to achieve objectives on time and under budget.

Mr. Jimenez began as special agent in charge in the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Investigations Unit in San Juan Puerto Rico. He then moved into the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) headquarters office in Washington DC, where he worked his way to the top, starting as Special Agent, then Chief of Heroin Investigations Desk, Group Supervisor, Resident Agent in Charge, Inspector, Senior Inspector, and Deputy Assistant Administrator.

As Chief of Heroin Investigations Desk at the DEA was Responsible for the worldwide Heroin Enforcement Program. He coordinated complex domestic and international heroin investigations targeting major criminal narcotics trafficking organizations and developed and implemented strategic plans to reduce the availability of heroin entering the United States. In the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration New York office, Mr. Jimenez supervised and directed the operations of 32 enforcement groups, 5 resident offices and the division’s Diversion Program. He also established and drove the operational concept and organizational structure of the newly formed Caribbean Division of DEA where he developed and controlled budgets and funding for complex international drug law enforcement operations and implemented DEA’s policies and enforcement programs for offices located throughout the Caribbean Islands.

He was then appointed Chief Inspector in Washington DC, the fourth top position in the agency. Where he served as principle advisor to the DEA Administrator on integrity matters, Directed the Office of Professional Responsibility, the Office of Inspections and the Office of Security Programs, while coordinating sensitive internal reviews and investigations in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s worldwide operations.

Mr. Jimenez also managed the investigative operations of the DEA throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware, where he was responsible for managing an enforcement division and six field offices located throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. Moving his way to the New York DEA office once again he managed and directed a staff of 800 employees operating from seven offices throughout New York State.

Additionally, Mr. Jimenez served as a special agent in charge in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Air Marshal Service division, where he managed and directed a staff of 350 employees comprised of Federal Air Marshals, Administrative and support positions. He established and drove the operational concept and organizational structure of the newly formed division of the Federal Air Marshal Service office in New York. Mr. Jimenez developed and implemented strategic plans to promote confidence in our nation’s civil aviation system through the effective deployment of Federal Air Marshals, to detect, deter and defeat hostile acts of terrorism targeting U.S. air carriers, airports, passengers and crews.

He earned his Bachelors in Business Administration in a Catholic University in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
