A leading security professional, Alex Echo has an extensive background in all facets of executive protection, intelligence gathering and conducting complex protective intelligence and criminal investigations in both the government and private sector.

As an outside consultant for several leading security firms, Mr. Echo has worked on both executive protection and investigative assignments in the United States, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. Executive protection related assignments pertained to individuals in the entertainment sector, CEO level managers from Fortune 500 companies as well as prominent private citizens.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Echo served for more than two decades as a United States Secret Service agent, culminating in supervisory positions as an Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Miami Field Office. As a supervisor, Mr. Echo helped establish the Miami Electronic Crimes Task Force (MECTF), one of nine established by the Secret Service throughout the country after the September 11 terrorist attacks. The task force was established to combat cyber terrorism and investigate incidents affecting critical infrastructure facilities in the United States.

Following his tenure at the MECTF, Mr. Echo was appointed as the supervisor of the International Squad at the Miami Field Office. This unit was responsible for carrying out the protective and investigative missions of the Secret Service in Latin America. Mr. Echo also led numerous training initiatives throughout the Latin America region to foreign law enforcement officials as well as to individuals from the private sector.

Before retiring in 2009, Echo's years with the Secret Service led to numerous awards and recognition including five (5) Performance or Special Achievement awards and one (1) Special Act or Service award. Echo is a former President of the International Association of Financial Fraud Investigators- Caribbean Chapter.

Mr. Echo is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
